During the Prime Minister’s recent visit to Cornwall, the team at Pirate FM introduced David Cameron to the selfie stick.
He managed to take a selfie of himself, with the station team in the background.
During his visit of the UKRD station, the PM also spent time with Managing Director Mark Peters, where he heard about the expansion of the business and took a look at the building work taking place in order to accommodate new staff and departments.
“It was great to welcome the PM to Pirate FM today.” said Mark. “A great opportunity for us to showcase the positive evolution we are currently going through as a business with physical expansion of the business premises and extra jobs as a result.
“The Prime Minister confirmed he listened to Pirate FM whilst on holidays in Cornwall and whilst here he had his very first experience with a selfie stick – so I think he also thought the visit was a huge success.”
