There’s a couple of new roles at Orion Media this month as the company creates new positions of Brand Programme Director along with a Deputy.
Mike Newman comes from Gem 106 where he was Programme Director – he’ll be Brand Programme Director responsible for running the Free brand across the West Midlands.
Working alongside the newly promoted David Salt, Free Radio’s Deputy Brand Programme Director, and Toby Mackenzie, Free’s Deputy Programme Director (Music), Mike Newman is tasked with helping to grow audiences for the Free brand.
Mike commented: “I’m incredibly excited by this brilliant new challenge. Free is a fresh, exciting, hugely engaging radio brand and I can’t wait to get back to Birmingham to get started.”
