Aaron Roscoe gets UTV network programming role

Signal Deputy Programmer Aaron Roscoe is to head local radio network programming at UTV Media.

Aaron will be looking after the day to day output for all 13 UTV local stations during network hours, including Total Access & Late Night Love. For the past eight years, he’s been Deputy Programmer at Signal 1 & 2, working alongside Chris Buckley and he will continue in this role while assuming additional responsibility.

Aaron Roscoe said: “I’ve really enjoyed my eight years at UTV and I can’t wait to take on this exciting new challenge. We’ve got some big plans for our already successful network and I’m looking forward to working closely with all programmers and our Total Access and Late Night Love teams.”

Terry Underhill, Group Programming Director for UTV Media, said: “Aaron is an extremely talented professional and this promotion is well-deserved. He has a great knowledge of and talent for good radio and all the programmers at our stations are looking forward to his contribution to our output.”

UTV local FM stations currently broadcast local programmes 6am till 7pm weekdays, and take a networked evening show called Total Access along with overnights.
