This year’s Community Media Conference is taking place at the University of Bedfordshire, Luton, on Saturday 12th September 2015.
It’s hosted by Radio LaB and has the theme of Inspiring Through Success, where the CMA will showcase and share examples of best practice from all community media practitioners whether radio, local television, or online.
There will be a session on the new Community Media Association development plan and how the organisation is working to service its members. The event will have quick lightning talks on funding, sustainability, and fund-raising, plus a number of breakout sessions on the Memorandum of Understanding with the BBC, an update on the small-scale DAB trial, local TV, and hyperlocal journalism.
