Edward Adoo joins BBC Three Counties Radio

Edward Adoo is joining BBC Three Counties Radio for a new weekly show with news, entertainment, music and human interest stories.

The former University of Bedfordshire student and broadcaster will be on-air each Sunday evening from 8pm-10pm.

Ed says: “Having lived in Luton for five years I’d fallen in love with Bedfordshire so I‘m delighted to be back. I’m chuffed to have joined such a great, passionate and down to earth team. BBC Three Counties Radio truly represents what local radio is all about.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity and I’m looking forward to serving the people of Beds, Bucks and Herts with great stories, conversation and music.”

Toby Friedner, Senior Broadcast Journalist at BBC Three Counties Radio, added: “We’re delighted that Ed is presenting a show for us. He’s a great talent, has bags of personality and understands what our audience wants.”

Earlier this year Ed joined BBC Radio Bristol for a three month one hour residency showcasing his music collection.
