Rita Ora has pulled out of singing at Key 103’s Summer Live concert but will instead appear at Radio City’s event of the same name.
Rita says changes to her X Factor recording schedule has resulted in Key 103 announcing to listeners today that she’s not appearing in Manchester. At the same time, sister station Radio City told listeners that Rita Ora has been added to their line-up.
The Liverpool gig is on Saturday 18th July whilst Key 103’s is on Sunday 19th.
Chris Rick, Content Controller at Radio City said ‘We are really pleased to confirm that one of the UK’s finest pop stars, the phenomenal Rita Ora, is heading to Radio City Summer Live this July! A year on from her sensational chart-topper ‘I Will Never Let You Down’, Rita has returned in style with her colossal and extremely addictive new single ‘Poison’. It’s going to sound awesome when she performs that single in front of thousands at Radio City Summer Live. Due to scheduling difficulties unfortunately Dappy will no longer be appearing at the event.’
The two stations have secured Little Mix, Stereo Kicks, Ella Eyre, Mr Probz, Alesha Dixon and more for the weekend.
In a statement Rita Ora’s management said “Due to changes to her X Factor commitments Rita Ora will no longer be appearing at Key 103 Summer Live. Rita would like apologise to all her fans and hopes that they still have a fantastic time at the show”.
