Aiir upgrades to offer Instant Access sites

Aiir, the company previously known as G Media, has launched a new online service which allows radio stations to set up a website instantly.

A number of packages have been made available, and come with radio-specific functions such as a schedule system and different designs.

Ricki Lee, Executive Director of Aiir, said: “With small scale DAB and the growth of community and internet stations, there’s so many new opportunities in the radio industry that we think it’s really important to support. We’ve built these new packages with stations of all sizes in mind – giving them access a suite of tools they’ll love at a price that works for them.”

First to use the service was Chris Country, which will shortly be available on two small scale DAB multiplexes.

Chris Stevens, founder of Chris Country, said: “Our Aiir website allows us to look and feel as professional as stations with far greater resources. From the artist pages to the easy to use competition forms, the now-playing window to the ads, it’s quick to set up and a pleasure to use. Our listeners love it.”
