Management changes for Bauer City Network
There are more changes within the Bauer City Network today as the company announces a number of movements in Scotland and the North of England.
Chris Pegg will move from the North East to become Regional Content Director in the North West, and have the job of revitalising Key 103 from its recent drop in popularity. He will also oversee Radio City and Rock FM from his base in Manchester. Key 103’s Content Controller Kate Cocker, who joined two years ago is leaving the company.
Mike Cass is on the move again to the newly created role of Network Content Director where he will be responsible for growing audiences through City 1 networked shows as well as continuing to lead City 2 and City 3 content teams. He joined Bauer in January this year to become Yorkshire Regional Content Director then took over as North West Regional Content Director.
Brian Paige will take over the newly created West Scotland region taking day to day responsibility for Clyde 1, but also overseeing West FM and MFR. A new Regional Content Director for the new East Scotland region is currently being advertised for, designed to provide more senior day to day support at Forth One, and in addition will also oversee Tay FM and Northsound 1.
In other moves, Alex Vladev will replace departing John Harding as Content Controller at Viking FM after 18 months at Radio Aire, and a new Content Controller for Radio Aire will be announced in due course. David Walker will also return to MFR as Content Director where he will bring his experience of the Inverness market into play.

The changes will come into effect on Monday 17 August.
