Suzie McGuire joins Glasgow DAB radio station

Former Radio Clyde presenter Susie McGuire is joining GO Radio in Glasgow for a daily show.

She’ll host the afternoon drivetime programme when GO starts broadcasting from two DAB transmitters in September.

Suzie who left Bauer last year after 30 years with Clyde says: “I’m so excited about being back on the radio bringing local banter back to Glasgow. GO is what Glasgow has been missing. Looking forward to having lots of top guests on my show and who knows maybe a wee bit edgy! Look out Glasgow, McGuires on fire!’

Station Programme Director Kevin Cameron added: ‘When you think about radio in Glasgow, two names come to mind, Tiger Tim and Suzie McGuire so it’s fitting both of them are now at GO, Glasgow’s Own radio station. Suzie is a world class addition to our team and underlines that we are committed to bringing the best talent to the people of Glasgow.’

GO Radio will initially be broadcasting on DAB digital radio from their soon to be announced city centre studios, on the new Glasgow local trial multiplex due to commence in late September with transmitters in Glasgow and Paisley.
