600 commercial free radio stations and access to coverage of football and baseball games are the main selling points for TuneIn’s new subscription service.
TuneIn Premium says it will deliver live play-by-play coverage of all Major League Baseball games, Barclays Premier League and Bundesliga matches, over 600 commercial-free music stations, and have unlimited access to over 40,000 audiobooks.
Barclays Premier League matches are only available in the US/Canada and are provided by talkSPORT.
The commercial free radio stations are provided by the likes of Digitally Imported, 977 Music, and JazzRadio.com, some of which are regular radio streams with the commercials replaced by music tracks.
Access to TuneIn Premium is within the existing TuneIn Radio app, which will remain free and continues to offer over 100,000 streaming radio stations and 5.7 million on-demand programs and podcasts.
The price for the premium service, which is available in the UK, US and Canada, is £5.99 per month.
