There’s a new breakfast and mid-morning show at BBC Radio Norfolk, as Chrissie Jackson joins the station.
Chrissie, who spent 27 years at what is now Heart East Anglia, will host the 10am till 12pm slot as current presenter Nick Conrad moves to breakfast.
Nick will replace Nicky Price who returns to the newsroom full time.
BBC Radio Norfolk’s Managing Editor, Peter Cook, said: “I am really excited to announce our new morning line-up – it’s packed with character. Nick’s a big personality and a champion for Norfolk who delivers challenging journalism, but more than that he’s terrific entertainment and I’m sure our listeners will enjoy hearing him at breakfast time.”
“I’m delighted that Chrissie is joining BBC Radio Norfolk to present our new mid-morning show. She’s a great presenter with bags of personality and energy. She’s well known to our listeners already so I can’t wait for her to add her sparkle to BBC Radio Norfolk in the New Year.
Nick said: “I’m delighted to be given the opportunity to present the Breakfast Show. It’s a great challenge that I’m looking forward to taking on.”
Chrissie said: “My new show means I can do what I love – have fun, talk to the listeners, play music and entertain the people of Norfolk. I can’t wait to get started.”
Peter added: “Nicky is a very experienced journalist and has worked on both news and sport in the past so will be an excellent addition to our pool of journalists.
“We’d like to thank Nicky for her work on the Breakfast Show.”
