Pandora to leave Capital FM to join KISS

Capital network presenter Pandora is leaving the station to join rival network KISS.

Global has confirmed the exit to RadioToday, with a spokesperson saying “We wish Pandora all the best in her new role.”

KISS Programme Director Andy Roberts has announced Pandora will be taking over from Neev on mornings as she’s leaving to have a baby.

Pandora started off at Global on the promo team handing out stickers for Heart, then got the overnight show on Choice FM before moving to daytimes. After a few years at Choice she moved to Capital FM to host 10am till 1pm weekdays.

There are more changes planned at Capital under the personal direction of Ashley Tabor, and a number of staff have left recently or are leaving soon.

Managing Director Rob D’Ovidio was moved to another Global project last year but has now left Global, whilst producer Andrew Wilson is also leaving to join the KISS Network as Imaging Producer.

Head of Production Chris Nicoll left to join Wise Buddah, and Joey Nicoll has moved to the same imaging post at Smooth and Gold.

Pandora joins KISS in June. KISS Programme Director Andy Roberts told us: “Pandora really understands what is needed to engage audiences in a multi-platform world – she’s going to be a great addition to the KISS team and we can’t wait for her to join.”
