Rozina Breen appointed 5 live Head of News
Current Editor of BBC World News Digital and former BBC Radio Leeds Managing Editor Rozina Breen is the new Head of News for 5 live.
Rozina started her BBC career as a radio production assistant at Radio Leeds but, after a year, moved to BBC News and Current Affairs Radio where she worked as a researcher on a range of BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 5 Live output.
She also spent a year with BBC factual in Manchester and spent time as an Assistant Producer on BBC One and BBC Two documentaries, as well researching for BBC One’s Watchdog Healthcheck programme.
She then went on to Home Current Affairs Radio as a Senior Broadcast Journalist, producing both pre-recorded and live output for Radio 4.
Rozina also spent a year in Manchester as an online Broadcast Journalist for BBC News Online.
