Wave 102 starts house and dance music show

Dundee’s Wave 102 is introducing a new show – In The House with Charlie Duthie and Friends – every Friday night from 9.

The programme will be mainly house, but will also cover club music and dance music old and new. In The House features will include “The Attic Party” with former Snow Patrol’er Tom Simpson and the last 30 minutes will be a recorded set taken from clubs around Europe featuring guest sets.

Charlie Duthie says “I’m extremely excited about getting this project to air after being in the planning stage for the best part of a year, we are absolutely thrilled by the support we are being shown by the some of the industry’s top figures.”

Tom Simpson says about his involvement in the programme: “I’m thrilled to be involved in a show playing music that I’m very passionate about.”

Wave 102’s programme controller Alistair Smith said: “We’re very excited to add this to our schedule of regular programmes bring a new look to our Friday night. I am sure our listeners will enjoy this look at the music from the scene that they grew up with.”
