The Best Disco in Town returns with Thames Radio

Classic Capital FM radio show The Best Disco in Town is making a comeback on Thames Radio.

The show, introduced by Tony Blackburn, will air every Friday night from 8pm till 10pm on DAB digital radio across London. It was originally on-air in the 70s and 80s and will include music from Diana Ross, the Jackson Five and The O Jays.

Thames Radio is now fully operational on the London 2 multiplex, and is owned by Nation Broadcasting.

Nation Broadcasting’s Executive Chairman and Founder Jason Bryant said: “The Best Disco in town was the original floor-filler radio show. We are so pleased to add such an iconic show to our weekend line up – it’s the perfect start to the weekend alongside Neil Fox on Friday.”

It's easy to put travel news on your radio station, from £25 a month for online stations. See for details and same day set up.
