Roger Dean designs new limited edition logo for 3 FM

A new limited edition logo has been revealed at 3 FM on the Isle of Man, designed by Roger Dean.

Roger is famous for his paintings used on album sleeves and logo designs for the likes of Yes, Asia, Osibisa, Rick Wakeman and Steve Hackett. He also designed the very first Virgin records logo that Richard Branson used for his label.

Managing Director of 3 FM Ron Berry told RadioToday: “It is an unbelievable honour to have Roger design a logo for us and to put us amongst some of the world’s most recognisable images and brands that he has designed”.

“We are so proud of it that I have had it enlarged and put on the wall in the office which Roger has signed. We are also having some limited edition promotional items produced to give away to our listeners”.

“It’s not a permanent change of brand for 3 FM as our existing logo is so well known on the Island but we will be using it as a limited edition to commemorate Rogers stamp designs and his exhibition at the Manx Museum”

Roger Dean has designed a set of six stamps for the Isle of Man Post Office and is exhibiting twenty six of his paintings and some models of his architecture at the Manx Museum in Douglas which is open until November.
