Former Real Radio Yorkshire Programme Director Ricky Durkin is joining Peak FM for breakfast.
He’s starting on Monday joining current co-host Cat Kilvington, who joined Peak FM earlier in the year, replacing Stu Haycock.
Ricky started his radio career over twenty years ago as a sketch writer and voiceover artist, before becoming a presenter in 1994.
Ricky says: “I’ve had a great year, presenting different shows on a few radio stations but now I can’t wait to start hosting the breakfast show with Cat at Peak FM. I know the team has got some great ideas for the future and I’m really looking forward to being a part of it.”
Sam Fielding, Peak FM Managing Director, said: “It’s great to have Ricky on board, as he brings a wealth of talent and experience to Peak FM. We’re excited to see him join forces with Cat as we believe that this will be a fresh new formula for the station.”
