Bauer radio stations launch Mission Christmas

Magic and Absolute Radio have launched this year’s appeal for listeners to buy gifts for children.

Mission Christmas invites listeners and locals to buy one extra gift to help thousands of disadvantaged children across the UK, and is run by Cash For Kids which is supported by Bauer Radio and its network of stations across the UK.

In 2015 the appeal generated upwards of £13million in gifts and donations which were distributed to more than 300,000 disadvantaged kids across the UK.

Magic Radio’s Nick Snaith said: “Mission Christmas is a brilliant way for people to act in the true spirit of the season and give a little something to disadvantaged young people who really do deserve it.”

Absolute Radio’s Andy Bush added “What was achieved last year was truly amazing and I know we can do even better this year. Even one child living in poverty is too many but with so many in that position, Mission Christmas gives everyone the opportunity to make a real difference.”
