Two radio presenters are making their Newsnight presenting debuts on BBC television this week.
The flagship nightly news and current affairs show, which airs on BBC Two and is later repeated on the BBC News Channel, was hosted by 5 live’s Emma Barnett on Monday evening and she’s back hosting again tonight (Wednesday)
LBC breakfast presenter Nick Ferrari is due to present Newsnight on Thursday and Friday night this week – also making his hosting debut on the programme.
Both are presenting their radio shows as normal this week too.
Nick and Emma have previously been part of Sky News’ The Pledge, which has a multi-presenter format.
Nick has been presenting LBC breakfast since 2004. Emma currently presents 5 live Daily half of the week, along with other presenting duties on Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour. She also formerly worked at LBC.
