BBC Radio Cambridgeshire has announced a new on-air line-up, from Monday October 2nd.
Ben Stevenson will present a new Early Breakfast Show, weekdays from 6-7am, with Dotty McLeod’s Breakfast Show broadcast at the revised time of 7-9am. Chris Mann in the Morning will run 9am to midday and Lunchtime Live with Jeremy Sallis midday until 3pm.
Sue Merchant’s Runaround Sue will broadcast 3-4pm Monday to Thursday and Thordis Fridriksson makes her debut on Drivetime, 4-6pm Monday to Friday, presenting her first daily news and entertainment show for the BBC.
There’ll also be a new interactive sports show on Monday’s from 6pm, focusing on Peterborough and Cambridge United, as well as a programme on Cambridge’s local music scene on Thursday’s at 6pm.
David Harvey, editor of BBC Radio Cambridgeshire said: “ We’re really excited about the new schedule, bringing back some old favourites as well as totally new presenters.
“ Ben will help listeners avoid the worst of the delays while travelling to work. The much loved Sue returns to present her first daily show for us in 4 years, and we’re really excited about Thordis showcasing her enthusiasm, wit, intelligence and a detailed Cambridgeshire knowledge.”
