BBC Radio Leeds festive cheer out on the road


BBC Radio Leeds is visiting towns across West Yorkshire next week with a series of festive OB’s.

Richard Stead will present his mid-morning show from shopping centres in the area and he’ll be joined by musical guests including Castleford Male Voice Choir; Lizzie Jones (the inspirational charity campaigner and widow of Keighley Cougars player Danny Jones) and a bespoke brass band which has formed exclusively for BBC Radio Leeds.

Shoppers will be able to enjoy the entertainment and even join in with a seasonal singalong. from 12pm each day.

Richard’s show will be live from 9am to 12pm and will be in Wakefield, Keighley, Leeds, Halifax and Huddersfield. He says: “It’s a privilege to be able to spread some festive cheer across West Yorkshire where we’ll be giving people the opportunity to see some Christmas crackers of performances as well as joining us for a good old fashioned festive singalong!  See you there!”
