New national voice-over conference launched

A new conference for voice-overs will take place in London over four days from April 26th to 29th 2018.

One Voice is organised by VO Peter Dickson and voice director Hugh Edwards.

Among the 30 + speakers at One Voice are keynote speaker Joe Cipriano (The voice of The Fox Network and CBS in the USA), Randy Thomas (The voice of The Oscars, Emmys and Superbowl), Alan Dedicoat (Ex BBC Radio 2 and The voice of the UK Lottery) and Alix Wilton Regan (lead female role of Aya in Assassin’s Creed Origins).

The event is open to all voiceover artists from across the industry and will include over 30 talks, panels and workshops from industry voice actors, agents and studio managers.

As well as the more formal elements, there will be social events throughout the conference including a Thames boat party cruise – by night, a karaoke social and a separate awards ceremony and dinner, which has been created to award and recognise excellence in both new and established voice talent. Nominations for the awards are now open.

One Voice co-founder Hugh Edwards, who works as a casting director and voice director, said: “The One Voice Conference is about giving everyone in our voiceover community a place to network, learn, teach and have a great time doing it. We’re bringing together the biggest and best names in the industry and giving voice talent access to expertise and learning opportunities that would usually cost an individual thousands of pounds, for the price of just a single ticket.”
