Bruno Brookes back for BBC Radio Stoke’s 50th

Bruno Brookes is to return as a guest on BBC Radio Stoke as part of their 50th birthday celebrations.

The station turns 50 next week and is welcoming back voices from the past and recognising the real life heroes of Staffordshire and Cheshire with the BBC Radio Stoke Make a Difference Awards.

Bruno started out at Radio Stoke before leaving to join Radio 1 in the 80s. He’ll be joining Liz Ellis and John Acres on the breakfast show next Wednesday morning.

BBC Radio Stoke Editor Andrew Bowman says: “For the past 50 years BBC Radio Stoke has been part of the community and that’s never been more important than now. These community awards will celebrate the people in Staffordshire and Cheshire who that go the extra mile. We can’t wait to meet them!”
