Emma B starts regular radio show on Magic

Presenter Emma B is joining Magic on a permanent basis with a new weekend show.Emma has been covering breakfast and daytime recently but will now be heard each Saturday from 10am till 1pm

Tony Moorey, Group Content Director for Magic said: “Emma is an incredibly talented broadcaster with a wealth of radio experience, and we’re very excited to formally welcome her to the Magic family.”

Emma last had a regular show on rival Smooth Radio, but has taken time off-air recently to work in the charity sector.

Her radio career started in 1998 when she joined BBC Radio 1 for a Saturday morning show, then moved to Saturday afternoons a year later. Emma worked at Radio 1 and 6 Music until leaving for Heart Drivetime in 2005. She has also been heard on 5 live, LBC and BBC World Service.

    I wish Emma B all the best with the new Saturday show – but I shall miss the excellent Paul Hayes. Saturdays won’t be the same.

    I disagree. Paul Hayes is about as exciting as a wet weekend in Grimsby!

      I listen to be entertained not excited and Paul ticks the boxes for me. I hear him early weekday mornings too. I’ve never been to Grimsby!
