Lee Clayton takes up new role as Head of talkSPORT

Lee Clayton has taken up the newly created role of Head of talkSPORT, to oversee the broadcasting of the sports radio station.

Lee joins the station having been Head of Sport at The Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday and MailOnline, where he spent 14 years. His role at talkSPORT will include responsibility for all output on the main talkSPORT channel and all live sport on talkSPORT2.

Wireless CEO, Scott Taunton said: “Lee is a fantastic hire for talkSPORT and will be an excellent addition to talkSPORT’s first-class team.

“These are exciting times for our business with our national stations poised to move into The News Building, talkSPORT delivering on a growing list of exclusive live sporting events and Chris Evans set to launch his new Breakfast Show on Virgin Radio.”
