Radio Academy event: Jeff Zycinski in conversation

Jeff Zycinski, former Head of Radio at BBC Scotland, is taking part in an upcoming Radio Academy event, in conversation with Grant Stott.

Jeff will share stories from his career, life and radio, and talks about his new book ‘The Red Light Zone: An Insider’s Laugh ‘n’ Tell of BBC Radio’.

Grant will chat to Jeff about his childhood love of radio, his first jobs at MFR in Inverness and Radio Clyde in Glasgow, and his time at BBC Scotland which saw him rise to become Head of Radio, responsible for scheduling and commissioning programmes on BBC Radio Scotland.

There will also be a Q&A on the night and attendees will have the chance to pose questions about the industry and Jeff’s career (and there may even be a secret or two that Jeff hasn’t yet revealed).

This free event takes place on Thursday 14th March at The Devil’s Cut in Angel’s Share Hotel, 11 Hope Street, Edinburgh, EH2 4EL. It’s a 7.00 for 7.30pm start and there will be an opportunity to socialise during the evening too.

Register here to attend.
