I have only once heard an overnight radio show ,working 9 to 5( I must listen on Catch-up) Many years ago ,unable to sleep I rang up George Galloway to complain about an issue that affected one of his favourite country,s Cuba. We agreed it was a disgrace that it had happened, he hadn’t heard the news, and was very concerned when I told him that baseball had been removed from the London Olympics, and we wouldn’t see Cuba stepping up to the Plate. Ps .I, and my friends still miss Pitcher Phil who did baseball reports on LBC, Absolute, and Virgin. I hope his friend Aussie Rules Wally Dingo the reporter will return to Talk Radio on Iain Lee,s show this year.

I have the greatest respect for Rhod for such a stint on one show. A fantastic achievement.I love the way he says “we’re up all night”. I wonder how much Richard Dallyn regrets leaving in 2003 for the new LBC only to be axed from there a few months later. He and Rhod shared the show for a long while.
