Virgin Radio’s James Grove has been promoted to Group Head of Music.
James is currently Content Manager for Virgin Radio Anthems & Virgin Radio Chilled, which were launched in January this year.
In his new role, he will be responsible for all music output across the Virgin Radio UK network and the Scottish Sun stations reporting to Virgin Radio Content Director Mike Cass.
James said: “This is the dream job! To be working on the most exciting radio brand in the UK is just mind blowing.”
Mike Cass added: “James has done an amazing job launching Virgin Radio Anthems & Virgin Radio Chilled and with his knowledge of music, he’s the perfect person to take on the role.”
James previously worked for Bauer as Content Director for the Bauer City 2 network, and before that was at Gold 104 in Melbourne as Deputy Content and Music Director.
