Time 107.5 FM has again launched its campaign to help give underprivileged children in its area a special gift for Christmas.
Now in its 15th year, Give a Child a Christmas asks listeners to buy and extra gift and donate it to the station.
Station Manager, Lorna Waters, said: “This is one of our favorite times of the year at Time 107.5. It is always so heartwarming that our listeners are so generous in donating so many toys and gifts. Over the years, we have helped thousands of children to wake up on Christmas Day with a big smile on their faces and that is why we continue to do Give a Child a Christmas each year.
“People can bring the toys to our studios in The Liberty Shopping Centre in Romford, or take them to our sponsor, GBP Estates. They have been great and have helped us over the past three years by reaching out to all their contacts, delivering leaflets and also allowing people to drop off toys to their office in Victoria Road, Romford. It’s convenient for people there because they can park outside.”
Time 107.5 is collecting toys until Monday, 16 December. There is no need to wrap them as it makes it easier for gifts to be identified and distributed to the perfect child.
