Smooth Chill goes national on DAB digital radio

Smooth Chill has been added to the Digital One national DAB radio multiplex.

Global launched Smooth Chill last September on DAB in London and on Global Player.

In its first set of RAJAR results, it was reported that 301,000 people are tuning in each week.

Global says Smooth Chill provides the perfect antidote to the current times, featuring non-stop chill-out music from artists including Morcheeba, London Grammar, Moby and Portishead.

The main service Smooth Radio continues on D1 having replaced Smooth Extra recently, whilst Smooth Country remains on local multiplexes including London, Manchester and Nottingham.
