Kev Lawrence joins Peterborough Community Radio for breakfast

Former Heart and BBC Radio Cambridgeshire presenter Kev Lawrence is joining Peterborough station PCRfm to host its breakfast show.

He’ll take over the slot from Monday 17th August, following his recent departure from the BBC after a year.

Until last summer he was on the Heart Cambridgeshire breakfast show, having previously been at both Hereward FM and Lite FM in Peterborough. He’s been on breakfast radio in the city since 1997 across various stations.

Community station PCRfm – on 103.2fm – launched three years ago. The station’s Head of Programming, Chris Tibbles told RadioToday: “Kev is a household name across Peterborough who has entertained people in the mornings for over 20 years. We have worked together a lot in the past and I am really excited to welcome him to PCRfm. I cannot wait for him to bring his passion and creativity to the station with his new Breakfast Show.”
