Kings Lynn & West Norfolk have a new online radio station in the form of KL1 Radio.
The service launched on Monday 28th September and joins the army of new online radio stations aiming to replace lost local services.
It promises programmes with local events, information and news, to showcase local artists and play a great mix of popular music. Specialist shows will also play on weekdays from 8pm and weekends from 6pm – with themes including rock, soul and country music.
The team behind KL1 Radio has teamed up with YO1 and HG1 Radio to bring the project to life.
Richard Dix, KL1 Radio’s Programme Director, says: “We are determined to engage with our local communities and deliver a truly local radio station with great music variety blended with presenters including Alton Andrews , Steve Buchan, Gary Pooley & Paul Baker who all live and breathe our local area.”
