Former Silk FM Programme Controller Andy Bailey is joining a new online radio station for the Staffordshire Moorlands.
He’ll be presenting a Saturday morning show on Churnet Sound, after spending 20 years on-air in the area.
“As soon as I met the team from Churnet Sound, it was clear they had a real passion for the local area and were keen to shine a spotlight on local people and the great things that the Moorlands and the surrounding towns and villages have to offer.
“I jumped at the chance to join the presentation line-up!
“There is a real desire to produce the best quality radio possible. There are really positive vibes and everyone is supportive of one another. It’s fun, which is how it should be.”
Andy starts his show on April 17th from 10am till 1pm.
