RB1 Radio plans to join DAB digital radio multiplex in Rotherham

Digital station RB1 Radio is getting ready to launch on DAB next month.

Former Peak FM, Hallam FM and Rock FM presenter Craig Bailey is also joining the service to host weekday daytime.

RB1 Radio Program Director Stewart Nicholson said: “We are always looking for local and professional broadcasters to add to our amazing schedule of talent who know the area and that can deliver great local radio on the biggest local commercial radio for Rotherham and South Yorkshire RB1 Radio.

“We are also about to launch our brand new studios in Rotherham, so broadcasters can actually present a live show again instead of just voice tracking.”
