George Butler has been appointed to the newly created role, Head of Commercial Marketing by Bauer Media Advertising.
George joins Bauer Media Advertising from Radiocentre, where he has worked for the past six years.
As Head of Marketing, George worked on Radiocentre’s national ad campaigns, developed their brand identity and ran the national events series, Tuning In.
He also co-managed the award winning cross-industry initiative, the Mental Health Minute, and launched the Young Audio Awards for talented 8–18-year-olds creating audio across the UK.
In his new role, reporting to Commercial Marketing & Insight Director, Liz Martin, George will be responsible for shaping the commercial marketing strategy for Bauer Media Advertising, building on its ‘Together We Create Impact’ position.
On his new appointment, George Butler said: “After six great years with the Radiocentre team I’m saying a fond farewell. Having worked closely with Bauer I know it’s a hugely exciting time for the organisation, so I can’t wait to get started and be a part of their industry leading team.”
