Lucy Thomas appointed Chief Financial and Operating Officer at Bauer

Sky’s Group Chief Data Officer Lucy Thomas is joining Bauer as its new Chief Financial and Operating Officer.

Bauer says Lucy will drive the transformation of the Group’s audio business to capitalise on the opportunities ahead across the nine countries it operates in.

Lucy, who will join Bauer on 1 May 2023, has been with Sky since 2000 progressing through a range of Commercial Finance Director and MD roles before she became Group Chief Data Officer in 2019. In her new role she will be reporting into Anna Sedgley, CFO Bauer Media Group, and Richard Dawkins, President of the Audio Business Area.

Richard Dawkins comments: “Lucy is a perfect match as she has extensive experience across finance, commercial and data roles and is highly knowledgeable about media and technology.

“This broad skillset will give a further edge to our audio strategy. I look forward to working with her to deliver our roadmap for the future.”
