The eight part series, Intimacy, will launch as a boxset on BBC Sounds on 22nd July before airing weekly on BBC Radio 4 from 27th July.

The situation worsens when Liza realises the film’s director is a man she believes ruined her life years earlier. As tensions rise on set, she is forced to decide whether to speak out or remain silent.

Lena Headey said: “It’s been a joy to create Intimacy alongside this incredibly talented cast and production team.”

Dylan Haskins, Commissioning Executive, BBC Sounds, added: “We’re thrilled to be working with Sharon Horgan’s Merman again on Intimacy: a bold, darkly funny new series written by and starring Lena Headey, with a truly knockout cast.”
