GlitterBeam listeners can now access the station through a redesigned website and a new range of mobile and connected apps.
The update brings together a single digital experience across web, smartphones, in car systems and connected TV devices as part of the station’s latest digital development.
This new platform is available on the web, iPhone, Android, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Amazon Fire TV. Support for Apple TV, Samsung Smart TV, Google TV and Roku is due to follow in the coming weeks.
The website and apps were designed and developed by CreaTech, with the aim of providing a faster interface and easier access to live listening across different devices.
GlitterBeam Director, Eugenio Ceriello, said: “It’s about creating one connected experience. Our listeners move between devices throughout the day, and we wanted GlitterBeam to move with them.”
GlitterBeam’s Director, Michael Walton-Dalzell, said the project was planned with future growth in mind, adding: “Together we’ve created the foundations for the next generation of GlitterBeam.”
