This is the Coast is promoting local radio to cinema audiences across the Yorkshire coast this summer.
The station has produced a new commercial in house, using footage captured at local events alongside music adapted from its on air audio branding.
The advert will be shown before summer films, giving cinemagoers an introduction to the station’s local programmes, news coverage and community activity.
Now in its sixth year of broadcasting, This is the Coast serves Scarborough, Filey, Whitby, Bridlington and Hornsea with locally focused programmes and news produced by its team of journalists. The commercial presents the station as one that is “living and loving life in Yorkshire”, while highlighting its involvement in events and communities across its coverage area.
The campaign was created by the This is the Coast team rather than an external production company.
