Music 1 has released a cloud-based version of its music scheduling software.
The original windows-based program will continue to work along with its new offering, MusicOne Cloud, which now works in a browser environment.
MusicOne Cloud’s website says it builds on 40+ years of scheduling experience, and works from anywhere.
The company says integrations with playout systems such as Aiir’s PlayoutONE will continue, although the two companies are no longer actively working together following the release of Aiir’s own scheduler.
Music 1’s Steve Warren said he’s enjoyed working with the team at PlayoutONE and wishes them all the best for future success, adding: “What is changing is the business arrangement behind our products, not the compatibility our customers depend upon.”
Aiir CEO Ricki Lee added: “We wish Steve the best with his new venture and partners.”
