Radio stations can now download and test the public beta of Myriad Playout 7 from Broadcast Radio.
The new generation of the playout and automation system follows its first public demonstrations at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, with a full release planned for December.
Myriad 7 introduces integrated Listener Requests, allowing audiences to choose from a station controlled selection of music and send requests and messages through connected listener platforms.
Requests are then delivered directly into Myriad Playout, while stations control which tracks are available and where requests can be included in the Log.
Song Voting has also been added, alongside Presenter and Show Management tools which can supply additional information to connected Broadcast Radio services and provide context for enhanced AI Voice Links.
Other additions include LUFS and R128 loudness normalisation, a Dynamic Layout Editor and native support for Elgato Stream Deck devices, allowing presenters and operators to create physical controls for Myriad functions.
The release also includes a Windows 11 inspired interface, Voice Track Placeholders, Segue Editor trim points, Exclusive Play, dedicated support for pre recorded shows and changes to Clock editing.

The Myriad 7 public beta is available from today, 30 September, with the full release scheduled for December 2026.
