North Devon businesses and listeners have delivered The Voice’s largest Radiothon total to date.
The station raised £9,175 during its fourth fundraising event on 16 September 2026, with more than 100 donated lots auctioned to listeners of The Voice and The Voice 2.
Prizes were supplied by businesses from across North Devon and included a car, helping the event exceed the totals achieved by the station’s previous Radiothons.
Managing Director Jim Trevelyan said: “This year was our fourth Radiothon, and each year it has got bigger and bigger.”
The Voice operates as a not for profit Community Interest Company and relies on advertising from local businesses alongside fundraising events to support its work.
Jim added: “Community radio is all about helping the community and sharing what is going on across North Devon.”
Money raised through the Radiothon will help the station continue providing local radio, promoting community activity and supporting organisations across the area.
The Voice also plans to use the funds to continue covering the people, businesses and events found across North Devon.
Jim thanked every business that donated a prize, the listeners who placed bids and those involved in running the event.
