Drystone Radio has been found in breach of its licence for not logging its output.
The Yorkshire station admitted to Ofcom that a computer was removed from its studios without its knowledge, and that it was a recent event.
However the complaintant said the station didn’t have a reliable system in place to log output for the past 18 months, but couldn’t back this up when contacted by Ofcom.
To assess the complaint, the regulator requested recordings of three different days of output from the station. The Licensee provided the requested recordings for 16 June and 3 July 2014, but was unable to provide the requested recording for 7 June 2014.
