Zoe Ball’s BBC Radio 2 show this weekend will be covered by Kate Thornton after Zoe’s boyfriend Billy Yates was found dead.
Billy, who had been dating Zoe for the last few months, was a cameraman for the BBC show Antiques Roadshow.
A spokesman for the 46-year-old told the Press Association that Zoe was ‘devastated’ by the death of the 40-year-old cameraman, who was found at his flat in Putney, South London, on Thursday evening.
He continued: “Zoe is devastated and requests that during this difficult time the media respect her privacy as well as the privacy of her friends and family.”
Zoe posted a pink flower on her Instagram with the words “My sweet love X”.
