Global Radio’s Xfm has secured Mumford & Sons for an exclusive and intimate gig in aid of Xfm’s fund for War Child.
The “Xfm presents with Ford SYNC” series of events brings big bands to small venues, giving Xfm listeners the chance to get up-close-and-personal with artists.
Mumford & Sons will be treating the specially-invited audience to a special gig after they’ve headlined at Glastonbury on Sunday and performed at the Olympic Park in London next month.
Xfm’s Managing Editor Chris Baughen commented: “Xfm, and our very own John Kennedy in particular, have enthusiastically supported Mumford & Sons from day one. Now that they are one of the biggest bands in the world, we are honoured to have them play their most intimate gig in years with us, and even better that it is all in aid of our amazing charity partner War Child.”
