Stephanie Hirst is leaving BBC Radio Leeds this week after three years on-air hosting a daily show.
She joined the station to host mid-mornings in 2018 but has more recently been presenting 2pm till 6pm whilst all local stations have standardised four hour slots.
Stephanie’s last show will be this Friday. She told RadioToday: “Thank you to the BBC for allowing me to live out a childhood dream of working for the corporation.
“I’ve worked alongside some of the most talented and wonderful people, who have helped me grow as a broadcaster. For that I will be eternally grateful.”
A BBC spokesperson added: “We’re really grateful for all Steph has done at the station. She’s been a valued member of our team and we wish her well for the future.”
Stephanie has recently been presenting shows at Bauer on Hits Radio Pride, and was heard across the main Hits Radio network last month.
A replacement is expected to be announced soon.
