BBC Radio 1 breakfast presenter Nick Grimshaw had to leave his show early this morning after swallowing glass and going to hospital.
He was replaced around 9:15am by Fearne Cotton, who was due to start her show at 10am.
The glass was in a mug Nick drank from during his show and he was taken to hospital for an X-ray.
All went well as Nick later tweeted: “went to hospy, had X-rays, coughed it up, all fine now.I can eat glass in a circus now if all else fails”. He also thanked Fearne for stepping in to finish his show.
