Scotland Yard has announced Dave Lee Travis has been charged with one count of indecent assault under Operation Yewtree.
DLT, real name David Patrick Griffin is alleged to have assaulted a woman, who was over the age of 16, in January 1995.
He is still due to appear on bail at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 24 April. Mr Travis was cleared of 12 counts of indecent assault in February but the jury could not reach a decision on the two outstanding charges. When he left court last on March 28th, DLT told reporters: “The only thing I want to say on this is, the nightmare is continuing.”
