Heart’s Amanda Holden abseils for Jurassic World Rebirth launch

Amanda Holden has abseiled down a 30-storey London building live on Heart Breakfast.

It’s part of a special collaboration between Universal Pictures and Global to promote the new film Jurassic World Rebirth, released by Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment.

The challenge saw Amanda name as many dinosaur species as she could remember on her way down, mirroring a dramatic escape scene from the film.

In the days leading up to the stunt, Heart listeners were asked to guess how many dinosaurs she’d recall for the chance to win a UK family trip to a dinosaur-themed adventure park, including a two-night stay in a 4-star hotel with breakfast.

Starring Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali and Jonathan Bailey, Jurassic World Rebirth is set on a forbidden island that was once the original Jurassic Park. Now home to long-abandoned dinosaurs, it’s the site of a covert mission that uncovers a decades-old secret.

The film features returning favourites such as the T. rex and Velociraptor, as well as new species making their first appearance in the franchise.

Amanda’s abseil echoes a tense moment in the film where characters descend a damaged research tower while being hunted by a nesting Quetzalcoatlus.

The video of Amanda’s stunt is available to watch via Global or see the post below.
