Claire Sturgess has been announced as the new host of Mellow Magic Breakfast, weekdays 7am – 10am.
With a broadcasting career spanning more than four decades, Claire will continue to present on Absolute Radio in addition to her new role.
Claire said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Magic Radio and to be waking listeners up on Mellow Magic Breakfast.
“It’s a station I really love, with music that means so much to so many people. I can’t wait to get started.”

Current Mellow Magic Breakfast host, Jen Thomas is moving to take over presenting Magic Musicals afternoons.
